My name’s William Whorton. You can call me Bill.
I’m the Senior Web Developer for the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science at the Chesapeake Bay Program. I’m also the owner of American Made Retail Company–an online variety store supplied exclusively by American small businesses–and Ni Dieux Ni Maitre, my own line of politically-themed t-shirts, mugs, etc. And, last but not least, I’m a proud husband (of one wife) and father (of two children).
This site started years ago as sort of a side project where I’d indulge in whatever blogging phase I was in until I got tired of that and decided to try my hand at WordPress theme development. Then it became a portfolio site and point of contact for web development work. Finally, it was a forgotten placeholder for a couple of years while I finished my MBA and figured out what the hell I wanted to do with the rest of my life.
Now it’s a little of everything. I hope you enjoy it.
